This land is now only used once a year for the Yorkshire Centre Basic Memorial Trial in March and we need to be very careful how we use the land or we could lose it.
It’s important that riders stick to the marked route over the moors (not doing so will result in exclusion for the rider).
New for 2017 is a different start area which is accessed about half a mile further East from the old start on North Moor Road. Go through the gates and drive to the start area about 400 yards down the track. There is hard standing to park on and it should hopefully be a bit more sheltered.
There’s ample parking so please don’t leave your cars/vans outside on the road or on the verges.

BD23 6JP gets you to a farm a mile away but better check the map or use co-ordinates 53.996633 -1.784882 for an accurate guide to the entry gate. Turn off the A59 onto North Moor Road, after 400 yards, pass the original start point as the road bears right then after half a mile turn right through the gates and drive to the start area.
